Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Water can ruin finished basements so when Chris Q. of St. Louis, MO noticed the carpet in his basement was damp, he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a full perimeter waterproofing system. 

As part of the waterproofing system, WaterGuard was installed. WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors of the basement, as seen in the picture, and collects water from the walls and floors. It drains the water to the sump pump for removal

This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump to be pumped out of the house. Lastly, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These will permanently stabilize the foundation wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed.
