Woods Basement Systems was contacted to install an IceGuard Discharge Line System at this Ladue, MO home. Homeowners, William and Barbara S. were pleased to learn that IceGuard will protect their basement from getting wet. The anti-freeze fitting is installed over the sump pump discharge lines. This will help in ejecting water away from the home if the lines were to ever become frozen or clogged during the cold Missouri winter months.
A basement in Saint Louis, MO, was leaking and needed to be addressed. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement. This product sits on top of the soil to ensure it doesn't clog. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the collected water out of the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry and in great shape!
Edmond K. of St. Louis, Missouri wanted a sump pump installed in the basement of his home, due to concern about water leakage. Before he called Woods Basement Systems, Edmond did not have any kind of waterproofing agents in his basement. Worried about the upcoming spring whether, he had our foremen Clay Laister and his team come out to help waterproof his basement.
Clay and his team installed a UltraSump sump pump system at the lowest point of the basement, therefore, when rain was to enter the basement it would head straight to the pump. Once the water is in the pump, it is sent up and out of the basement far away from the foundation walls. With the UltraSump, the pump will kick in when the power goes out. Now Edmond can have peace of mind during a storm or bad whether.
A sump pump was leaking water onto the floor of a basement in Olivette, MO, causing issues. To fix this, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from common problems with an ordinary pump. It can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid, which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This basement will now remain dry and clean and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Water leaking into a basement can mean major clean up. Toni R. of Olivette, MO knew this all too well. Water would leak into her basement each time it rained, staining the walls and causing mold growth so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods found the best solution for her water problem would be a basement waterproofing system.
WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. As shown in the pictures, WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It is situated away from the “mud zone,” so it won’t get clogged as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and takes it to the sump pump for removal.
