Peter B. of Alton, IL thought he’d taken care of the water problem in his crawl space. He’d had a sump pump installed but was still getting leaks. The sump pump was filled with mud and no longer working so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods found the best solution would be an encapsulation system including a new pump.
Woods replaced the old pump with the SmartSump. The SmartSump collects intruding water from the drainage system and ejects it safely away from the crawl space through its discharge lines. It contains a powerful cast-iron pump within its sump liner. The sump liner features an airtight lid that is designed to work perfectly with the rest of the encapsulation system and has the WaterWatch alarm system built in to warm homeowners of potential plumbing leaks.
Bob V. of Alton, Illinois noticed that his home's basement was holding water after heavy rain showers. He did not want to have to keep cleaning up a mess every time it stormed, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Chris G. assessed the situation and came up with a perfect solution. A TripleSafe sump pump, a Waterguard drainage system, and a few well ducts were to be installed. Foreman William H. then traveled to the home to start the job.
The TripleSafe sump pump, pictured above, removes water from the home through a discharge line. The TripleSafe sump pump is equipped with a primary, secondary, and battery powered pump. If the first pump stops working for whatever reason, the secondary pump kicks in and keeps the basement dry. The basement will also stay dry if the power goes out, thanks to the battery powered pump.
Bob V. no longer has to worry about his home's basement collecting water. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.
Kate and Aaron L., Alton, Illinois homeowners, were frustrated with water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. Woods Basement Systems' system design specialist Chris T. designed a solution to keep the water out.
WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that guides water to the newly installed TwinPack sump pump system. Thanks to WaterGuard, Kate and Aaron's basement will stay dry.
Donna A. of Alton, Illinois discovered that water was seeping up from the flooring in her home's basement. She did not want to have to worry about cleaning up a mess after every heavy rain shower, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Nolan M. assessed the situation and decided that the best option would be to install a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman Mason S. then traveled to the home to get the project started. The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. After it was installed, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
