Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed under the concrete floors of the basement and sits on top the the footing of the foundation against the walls, out of the way of any mud that might clog the system. It collects water that leaks into the basement from the walls and floors and drains it to the sump pump.

WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. As can be seen in the picture, the WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. Because it sits on top of the concrete footing of the home, it will remain mud free as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. After installation, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects any water rising from the soil before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. It then drains it to the sump pump.
