Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Lebanon, IL, and pooling onto the floor. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Lebanon, Illinois homeowner Lucia had a wet garagea and crawl space that was giving her worries. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist John developed a plan to get both dry for her.

Foreman Greg and his crew installed TripleSafe Sump Pump, WaterGuard, and did a PolyLevel job to get her garage dry. The WaterGuard went along the back wall and ran any water that got in to the TripleSafe sump pump. 

The TripleSafe, which needed to be installed in the lowest point of the garage, has three pumps to keep the area totally dry. The battery-operated pump ensures that even in a power outage. 

By using PolyLevel, we can level the area making it safer and better looking. It also makes sure the area drains correctly and does not lead to further foundation problems. 

Lucia now has the dry basement and garage she has been desiring.

Additionally, a WellDuct Window Well Drain was installed. This channel is placed on the inside of the basement below the window that will carry water from a leaking window to the WaterGuard System. Lastly, the PowerBrace System was installed. This system is designed to stabilize a home’s foundation permanently. It will support the basement walls and straighten them over time. It will distribute the load evenly and eliminate the worry of damage caused by commonly seen wood floor joists. This system can be tightened over time and doesn't require any invasive drilling or digging. PowerBrace’s brackets are engineered to provide strong support to the joints and protect the floor system's durability. Thanks to these systems, this basement will now remain dry and stable all the time!

Merri and Rich M. of Hamel, Illinois were distraught by their wet, moldy basement. The water risked damaging their belongings and caused mold. After inspecting the basement, a system design specialist designed a solution to keep the basement dry.

As part of the waterproofing system, Foreman Melvin F. installed the TripleSafe sump pump system. Triple Safe is equipped with a main pump, backup pump, and battery-powered pump, so Merri and Rich's basement will stay dry all the time.
