Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Before this wet, Springfield, Illinois basement had visible water damage on the walls and floor. To prevent more water damage from accumulating, Team Woods head foreman, Greg H., installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement walls. This drainage system will collect and direct all pesky water leaks towards the home' s sump pump system. 

Water was entering a basement in Springfield, IL, and the homeowners wanted to get it waterproofed before any damage was caused. First, the CleanSpace Wall System was installed.  This is an economical way to cover ugly walls, stop water vapor from permeating them, and drain wall leaks. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!

IceGuard provides an exit for water in the event that the discharge lines become frozen or clogged. With these three systems, Jessica will never have to worry about a wet basement.
