Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This system sits on top of the soil to ensure no clogging occurs. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water away from the house. The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement and was then covered with concrete. It accepts water from the soil before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. The Waterguard then drains the water to the sump pump.

This Creve Couer, Missouri homeowner elected to finish her basement before waterproofing it. It took less than a month for her to regret that decision, as water began to come out onto the floor from behind the drywall.
