We recently helped out a Fenton, Missouri homeowner who noticed that mold was growing on the finished side of their basement drywall. The back side of the drywall was worse. Very little water was leaking into the basement, but it was leaking behind the finished walls for years. We installed our WaterGuard® basement waterproofing system with our SaniDry® dehumidifier (Pictured in the Corner) along with our white vertical wall covering to stop water vapor from coming through the block foundation wall and getting the finished drywall wet.
In Fenton, Missouri homeowner Todd P. was worried about the foundation of his home. Recently, he had noticed cracks forming on the basement walls, as well as cracked and uneven concrete on his backyard patio. After getting a recoomendation from a friend, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Woods has several solutions to any foundation problem your home may have. In this home, our foreman Jeremy Raby and team installed our GeoLock System. Our GeoLock Wall Anchors system permanently stabilizes your foundation wall and, in many cases, can straighten your wall back toward its original position. Heavy-duty earth anchors are embedded in stable soil away from your foundation wall, and are then connected to steel anchors with long, galvanized rods. Once tightened, the anchors will hold the wall securely in its current position without any further adjustment. Now, Todd can relax knowing his home is safe and stabilized for years to come.
A foundation was cracking below a basement window in Fenton, MO, and wanted was beginning to leak out of it and cause damage. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were first installed. These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. Next, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the sump pump to be pumped out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!
Ray, a Fenton, Missouri homeowner, needed WaterGuard installed in his basement to help with the water problem he was having. Foreman Jeremy and his crew installed the WaterGuard for him and fixed the concrete around the stairway.
Ray now has a great looking and dry floor.
This homeowner's basement window was constantly filling with mud and rain water, this allowed water to leak into the basement. We resolved the issue by digging out the existing window well and replacing it with the SunHouse basement window enclosure. This after photo is showing the new window enclosure before we filled in the landscaping and capped the well with a clear cover. The SunHouse enclosure that will keep the well from ever filling with water and mud again.
