Before Lateral Line
Here is a before shot before we installed the lateral line. Water was pooling up right in the middle of the basement.

The grey piece you see along the wall is the access port that we use to service and flush the system.

Sump Pump
The perfect sump pump system does exist! Here we have a sump pump with three pumps inside of the pit, a water alarm, and battery backup to keep the system running in the event of a power outage.

The caps you see on the top of the discharge lines are designed to allow water to flow through even if the lines are frozen.

The end of the discharge line has a grate cover that is designed to keep debris and critters out.

Here you can see the lateral line that was placed above the footing and then sealed in concrete. The line leads directly to the sump pump.
