Sinking Concrete Repaired in Mount Vernon, IL

A section of a concrete driveway was sinking in Mount Vernon, IL, causing the slabs to become uneven. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. This will improve the safety and convenience of the driveway and restore peace of mind for years to come!

PolyLevel Makes Walkway and Driveway even in Spaulding, IL

Kevin T. of Spaulding, IL had an uneven walkway and driveway. As can be seen in the picture, the concrete slabs in the walkway had sunken away from the step. The uneven areas posed tripping hazards so Kevin called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended PolyLevel.

Woods injected PolyLevel through small holes drilled in the concrete slabs. PolyLevel is a two-part foam that expands to fill any voids below the slabs and lift and level the slabs. It’s waterproof so it won’t wash away and it’s lightweight so it won’t add more weight to the soil below, making it a much more permanent concretely leveling solution than other methods like mudjacking. It also cures much quicker, causing less down time than traditional methods like mudjacking.

Sinking Sidewalk Repaired in Rochester, IL

A sidewalk in Rochester, IL, was sinking and needed to be addressed. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used. By drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath, the foam expands to lift the concrete slab up and levels it out. This foam hardens to become rock solid within hours. Next, NexusPro™ was used to fill in the gaps in between the concrete slabs. This flexible sealant will withstand against any harsh weather conditions the homeowner may recieve. Finally, SealantPro™ was used to stain and protect the concrete.
