Can Light
Indoor conditioned air is constantly leaked through the light fixture. Having insulation up against the can light is a fire hazard.
Top Plate
Top plates constantly have air leaking through them. Dr. Energy Saver uses the spray foam to seal up all of these gaps around them.
Air Sealed Light
Lights have a lot of air coming through them because there are gaps around the light where it was cut out of the drywall. Around the light is sealed up by Dr. Energy Saver with spray foam.
Air Sealed Top Plate and Wire
This top plate has a wire coming out through the wood. Around the top plate and the wire is completely sealed with spray foam.
Sealed Hot Pipe
Hot pipes are a major fire hazards when they're not sealed off properly. If insulation is pressed against the pipe it can cause a fire. Dr. Energy Saver blocks off the pipe and then seals it off with fire resistant caulk.
Dam Around Attic Hatch
A dam is built around the attic hatch so that no insulation will fall down onto the hatch. This ensure that there will be no wasted insulation.
