Dry air leads to no Mold

Whenever the outside air is warmer than the inside are, there is most likely to be condensation in your basement and or crawlspace. This is due to the relative humidity of air increasing 2.2% for every degree of air that is cooled. Air in most crawl spaces and basements is cooled down because they are below ground level, naturally leading to higher humidity. There is an effect that you might not know is going on in your home which is called the Stack Effect.

The Stack Effect is when the hot humid airflow from your basement is drawn upward through your home's floors and through your house. Scientist say that 50% of the air you breathe in your home came from your basement. Now, if you have mold growing in your basement from the condensation that has been feeding it and with the Stack Effect naturally happening, you can be sure that you have mold spores up through your house.

Condensation is a major result in mold, causing your entire home to sell and studies say that prolonged exposure to mold increases the chance of having asthma. Water is the major player here and with having a damp basement you might have other issues happening to your home such as Dust Mites, rotting ceilings/ floors, increase in heating and cooling bills and much more.

In order to help prevent any of these things from happening the only real solution is to have the water extracted from the air itself. The SaniDry XP System is the perfect solution for this problem. The SaniDry XP is a very efficient dehumidification as well as a filtration system. The SaniDry XP takes up to 100 pints of water per day out of the air while having the same energy efficiency of that of a “40 pint” Dehumidifier. Its filtration system filters partials to an incredible size of two microns which is smaller than mold spores or dust mite droppings.

The SaniDry XP wrings your air completely dry with its powerful blower that moves your air in the basement around having that damp air smell eradicated. With the SaniDry XP System, you’ll never have to worry about emptying the water in to buckets as it is connected to the WaterGuard System or your sump. In today’s basements, I don’t know anyone who does not already have one. Imagine your basement being so dry, that the floor has become white!

Common household dehumidifies don’t even come close to that of the SaniDry XP. They are too small and don’t have the power to push the air around to dry it out as well as they don’t drain out automatically in your drainage system. The SaniDry XP dehumidifier is the best way to prevent contestation in your basement helping to prevent mold from forming in your house.
