Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A basement in Saint Louis, MO, was leaking during heavy rain and needed to be addressed. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement and direct it towards the nearest sump pump. This system sits on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry. 

The crawl space of Karen H.’s Saint Louis, MO home leaked water every time there was a heavy downpour. The amount of water that repeatedly got into the crawlspace made it unusable for storage so Karen called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a crawl space encapsulation system.

The SmartSump was installed as part of the encapsulation system. The SmartSump was designed specifically to form an airtight seal with the vapor barrier. It contains a powerful cast-iron pump to remove intruding water out of the crawl space through its discharge line. Its lid also features a WaterWatch alarm system to alert the homeowners to possible plumbing leaks in the crawl space.

The Twin Pack sump pump, pictured above, is equipped with both a primary and secondary pump. If the primary pump goes out for whatever reason, the secondary pump takes over and keeps the basement dry. The sump pump removes water from the basement through a discharge line.

The TripleSafe sump pump removes the water from the home through a discharge line. It is equipped with a primary, secondary, and battery powered pump. If the primary pump goes out, the secondary pump kicks in. The battery powered pump is useful if the power goes out durning a storm.

Stacy B. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding during big storms. She now has a dry and waterproof basement.

Foreman, Mason S. installed the products. The Twin pack sump pump includes two stainless steel pumps that work to protect your home against floods and leaks. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it collects water that seeps through the walls. it then takes that collected water and guides it to the sump pump to be removed.
