Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This Overland, Missouri homeowner was having water leak issues in her basement. During extended periods of rain, water would stream down the walls and pool on the floor. She was eager to waterproof the space, and she called Woods Basement Systems. A Woods team installed a TwinPack sump pump in the space to help remove any leaks from the home!

Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Overland, MO, and the sump pump was not pumping this water out correctly. To solve these issues, the BrightWall Paneling System was first installed. This bright, clean, and durable wall system will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and will drain any wall leaks to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Woods installed WaterGuard under the cement floors, along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that is situated on top of the homes footing, out of the way of mud or debris that might clog it. It collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement, using its wall flange and channel holes, and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. After installation, the Waterguard was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects water coming up from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
