Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Water was coming down basement walls in Webster Groves, MO, causing concern for the homeowners. To solve this issue, the BrightWall Paneling System was first installed. This all-plastic, bright white, basement wall paneling provides a clean look for an unfinished basement. It prevents water vapor from seeping into the basement and drains any wall leaks down to the WaterGuard System, which was installed next. A basement in Saint Louis, MO was leaking during heavy rain. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the collected water out of the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry for years to come!

Jackie and Rob F. of Shrewsbury, MO had water damage in their basement. After an estimate by Woods Basement Systems specialist Chris T., it was determined that the damaged portion of the drywall needed to be removed, a waterproofing system be installed, and the bottom half of the wall replaced with the EverLast Half-Wall restoration system. 

Pictured above is the TripleSafe sump pump, which is part of the waterproofing system. This pump is designed to collect water from the WaterGuard interior perimeter system and pump it out of and away from the house. It is equipped with a primary pump, secondary pump in case of primary pump failure, and a back up pump in case of power outage. The discharge line includes the IceGuard installed on the exterior of the home and allows water to escape the basement in the event it becomes frozen or clogged.
