A basement in Saint Louis, MO, was leaking and needed a strong waterproofing system to keep it dry all the time. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system won't get clogged, due to its horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is dry and in great shape!
Larry P. of Oakville, MO thought he his basement's water problem had been taken care of by a waterproofing system installed by a different company. That was until water began flooding into an area of the basement that hadn't flooded before so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods determined the best solution was to install a waterproofing system that would extend the one already in place to the full perimeter of the basement.
Woods installed WaterGuard as part of the new waterproofing system. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed along the foundation walls, under the floors of the basement (as shown in the picture). It will remain free of mud as it collects unwanted water coming in through the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
Donald K. of Mehlville, Missouri noticed that his home's basement was collecting water. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after every storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Benjamin S. assessed the situation and formulated the perfect solution. Then, foreman Mason S. traveled to the home to install a BrightWall paneling system, a Waterguard drainage system, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement, and was then covered with concrete. It collects any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
Donald K. no longer has to worry about finding a flooded basement. He now has a dry and waterproof home.

Design specialist Jeremy R. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman William H. then headed to the home to start the job.

Water was getting into a Saint Louis, MO basement when it rained, and it was starting to cause some damage. The foundation was beginning to settle as well, creating a few cracks in it. To solve these issues, woods first installed the CleanSpace Liner. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement wall, and drain any wall leaks down to the WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System, which will catch this water and drain it to the sump system to be pumped out. Lastly, the PowerBrace System was installed to permanently stabilize the foundation. This basement will stay dry, clean, and stable for years to come!
