To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the wall and prevent the humidity from getting in. This durable liner not only makes the basement look nicer, it also keeps other outside elements, such as rot, out as well. Next, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system doesn't clog, due to it's horizontal design. Finally, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump has a battery back-up generator to ensure it keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can have peace of mind knowing their basement will remain dry during heavy rain.

Water was entering the basement through the door, causing damage and concern. To solve this issue, the TrenchDrain System was installed. This surface drainage system will catch the water that leaks through the door before it can enter the basement. The WaterGuard System will also help carry this water as well as any that leaks down the walls and guide it toward the sump pump system to then be pumped out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain clean and dry for years to come!

A home in Saint Louis, Missouri, had a sump pump that wasn't quite keeping all the water out of the basement. To remedy this issue, Woods came out installed new french drains to direct the excess water to the nearby sump pump. With the WaterGuard System, plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. The water is taken to the sump pump and removed shortly thereafter. With this install in place, this basement is sure to stay dry for years to come.
