WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. As shown in the pictures, WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It is situated away from the “mud zone,” so it won’t get clogged as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and takes it to the sump pump for removal.

This is a channel placed on the inside of the basement below the window that will carry water from the leaking windows to the WaterGuard Drainage System. As part of the waterproofing system. Woods installed BrightWall panels. BrightWall panels are made of rigid, white plastic that is resistant to mold and waterproof so it forms a vapor barrier over the foundation walls and directs moisture to the drainage system below. As seen in the picture, it also gives the basement a much brighter and cleaner appearance.
