Kaity C. had major water issues in the basement of her Webster Groves, MO home. Her foundation walls had become stained from years of water leaking into her basement and her drywall and wood frames were being ruined by rot due to the water so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed CleanSpace over the stained walls. CleanSpace is a thick, durable plastic liner that creates a vapor barrier over the foundation walls, preventing moisture from entering the basement and directing it to the drainage system below.
Rebecca B. of Shrewsbury, MO was concerned about water leaking into her basement during heavy rains. Her home is older and has a stone foundation. System Design Specialist John L. knew that a WaterGuard would help with controlling floor water seepage, while a CleanSpace Wall System would help redirect wall water seepage and stop water vapor from permeating the walls. Once Foreman Juan H. and his crew installed these systems, Rebecca can enjoy her bright and dry basement.
Sump pump failure can occur for several reasons. Two common reasons cited for sump pump failure are mechanical failure and power outages. A single pump system is only as good as the pump itself. In this case, a single sump pump system just wasn't enough to keep this St. Louis basement dry.
Woods Basement Systems installed a dual pump system, so at least one pump is always ready to handle groundwater leaks. An optional and critical enhancement to this system is the UltraSump battery backup pump. If a breaker is tripped or severe weather knocks out power, the UltraSump will continue to pump in spite of the storm.
Jack T., St. Louis, Missouri homeowner, was distraught by the mold in his basement. The mold was a result of water leaking into the basement where the floor meets the wall.
As part of the solution designed by system design specialist Brenton K., foreman Melvin F. installed TripleSafe. TripleSafe receives water guided to it by the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. TripleSafe includes three pumps to ensure the basement stays dry.
Webster Groves, Missouri homeowner Tina has water coming into her basement. She was worried about the damage it was causing so she gave Woods Basement Systems a call. Team Woods developed a plan for her.
The foreman and crew installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of her basement and lead it to a new TripleSafe sump pump. The pump is sure to pump any water out of the basement and a safe distance away from the home. They also installed CleanSpace to reduce humidity and mold and direct any water seepage directly to the WaterGuard.
Tina now has peace of mind that her basement is dry.
