This Oakville, Missouri basement had a history of water entering where the walls meet the floor. Tired of dealing with the cleanup, the homeowner called Woods Basement Systems. A Woods team installed a TwinPack sump pump and WaterGuard to keep the space dry. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed under the floor at the base of the walls to catch any and all water before piping it to a sump pump, which in this case is a TwinPack. Equipped with two seperate pumps, the TwinPack is capable of pumping out well over 10,000 gallons of water an hour.
Basement leaks are common, but that doesn't mean that they just should just be left alone. Water can cause all kinds of damage, so it is imperative to address leaks as soon as possible. This Oakville, Missouri homeowner was tired of dealing with a wet basement and gave Woods Basement Systems a call. A Woods team installed WaterGuard drains and a TwinPack sump pump, making the basement totally safe from leaks.
A sump pump was failing to remove the water from a basement in Saint Louis, MO, causing concern for the homeowners. To solve this issue, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. It can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will now remain dry and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Larry P. of Oakville, MO thought he his basement's water problem had been taken care of by a waterproofing system installed by a different company. That was until water began flooding into an area of the basement that hadn't flooded before so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods determined the best solution was to install a waterproofing system that would extend the one already in place to the full perimeter of the basement.
Woods installed WaterGuard as part of the new waterproofing system. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed along the foundation walls, under the floors of the basement (as shown in the picture). It will remain free of mud as it collects unwanted water coming in through the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
Donald K. of Mehlville, Missouri noticed that his home's basement was collecting water. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after every storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Benjamin S. assessed the situation and formulated the perfect solution. Then, foreman Mason S. traveled to the home to install a BrightWall paneling system, a Waterguard drainage system, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement, and was then covered with concrete. It collects any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
Donald K. no longer has to worry about finding a flooded basement. He now has a dry and waterproof home.
