Tressa H. of Belleville, Illinois noticed that water was entering her home even though she already had a working sump pump. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every storm, so she called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist Brandon B. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution was to install a Waterguard drainage system and fix any cracks in the basement floor. Foreman Melvin F. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. After installation, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
Tressa H. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
This basement had a sump pump, but no means to collect the water leaks creating a musty environment. For the ultimate repair, WaterGuard drains were installed in the footing of the walls to collect water leaks and direct them to the home's sump pump.
Water was leaking into a Swansea, IL basement, causing damage to the floor. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. This basement will remain dry and restore peace of mind for years to come!

A basement in Belleville, IL, was prone to leaking during heavy rain. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system won't clog due to its horizontal design. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry during heavy rain.
