Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The customer had water coming in over the sill plate in one part of the basement and the other part was coming in at the foundation wall and basement floor seam.  Also was coming in under the cellar door.  Sill plate drain tile drainage took care of the sill plate and the combination of our trench drain and waterguard took care of the rest of the basement.

Robin a Collinsville, Illinois resident grew concerned then water would enter into her basement after heavy rains. So she decided to get some preventative work done and set up a consultation with Woods Basement Systems. She met with system design specialist, Brenton K., who made a personalized plan for her basement. His final recommendation was to install a new drainage system called WaterGuard. This brick Collinsville, Illinois basement had cracks that water would leak through during heavy rains. To solve this issue, a CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls to block out the water leaks. A WaterGuard drainage system was installed in the footing of the basement to collect the water leaks from the CleanSpace system. Then the water is directed to the TripleSafe sump pump that would discard of the water.

This new drainage system would collect the water that would leak inside and send it towards the basement sump pump to then be pumped back outside.
