A basement in Carbondale, IL was leaking and causing distress to the homeowner. To solve this issue, Woods installed a CleanSpace™ liner. This highly durable liner will keep the humidity and other outside elements out of the basement. Then, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Finally, a sump pump was used to discharge the water away from the house. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest assured that their basement will remain dry.
Milton M. of Carbondale, Illinois was looking to do some preventative waterproofing work, so he decided to call woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Luke B. recommended installing a TripleSafe pump and WaterGuard.
Foreman, Melvin F. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump is guaranteed to keep your home dry in three ways. It includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and battery-powered backup pump. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it is used to collect water that seeps through the basement walls. It then takes that collected water and guides it to the sump pump in order for it to be removed from the home.
Now Milton M. will have a dry basement for years to come.

As part of the waterproofing system, WaterGuard was installed. WaterGuard is a drainage system that’s installed under the concrete floors of the basement and against the walls. It collects water seeping into the basement and directs it to the sump pump to be removed.
Bonnie M. is thrilled that she no longer has to deal with water damage in her basement and that it’s finally livable.
