Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Mount Vernon, Illinois homeowners Seth and Megan F. were troubled with water leaking into their basement. System design specialist Jake K. designed a solution to keep their basement dry.

As part of the waterproofing solution, foreman Juan H. installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the exterior of the home to the discharge lines. It provides water with an exit in the even that the lines become frozen during those cold midwest winters. Seth and Megan are thrilled to know their basement will stay dry all the time.

Tami and Brandon S. of Moweaqua, Illinois were troubled by their wet, musty basement. Water leaked into the basement where the floor meets the wall. System Design Specialist Greg B. designed a solution to keep the basement dry. 

Our team installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects and guides water to the newly installed TwinPack sump pump system. With these systems, Tami and Brandon's basement is dry and will stay dry.

Water was coming down basement Walls in Marion, IL, causing damage and concern. To solve this issue, the BrightWall Paneling System was first installed. This bright, clean, and durable wall system will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any wall leaks to the WaterGuard system, which was installed next. This drainage system is installed adjacent to the home and provides a channel that connects to the sump pump.  Its design will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. This basement will now stay dry all the time thanks to these systems!

Corey K. of Marion, IL learned the hard way that it’s best to waterproof a basement before finishing it. His basement was partially finished when an alarming amount of water came leaking in. It stained his painted foundation floors and damaged the wood frames behind his finished walls so he called Woods Basement Systems.

Woods installed the Twin Pack sump pump system as part the waterproofing system. As shown in the picture, the sump liner is sealed with an airtight lid but is still accessible should one of the pumps fail. It contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps to ensure that even in heavy downpours, water is being pumped out and away from the basement through the discharge lines
