Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Tami and Brandon S. of Moweaqua, Illinois were troubled by their wet, musty basement. Water leaked into the basement where the floor meets the wall. System Design Specialist Greg B. designed a solution to keep the basement dry. 

Our team installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects and guides water to the newly installed TwinPack sump pump system. With these systems, Tami and Brandon's basement is dry and will stay dry.

Water was coming down basement Walls in Marion, IL, causing damage and concern. To solve this issue, the BrightWall Paneling System was first installed. This bright, clean, and durable wall system will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any wall leaks to the WaterGuard system, which was installed next. This drainage system is installed adjacent to the home and provides a channel that connects to the sump pump.  Its design will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Woods installed the Twin Pack sump pump system as part the waterproofing system. As shown in the picture, the sump liner is sealed with an airtight lid but is still accessible should one of the pumps fail. It contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps to ensure that even in heavy downpours, water is being pumped out and away from the basement through the discharge lines

A sump pump was not able to handle the amount of water that was entering it in Marion, IL, causing it to overflow and pool onto the basement floor.
