Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

These Fairfield, IL homeowners had a WaterGuard waterproofing system installed in their home. This system included the WaterGuard drainage system, a new sump pump with a primary and secondary pump, as well as the IceGuard on the exterior of the home.

The IceGuard protects the basement from sump pump overflow in the case of frozen or clogged main discharge lines. It allows the water to safely escape from the basement to the outside of the home.

WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system, was installed. Before WaterGuard, the homeowner had PVC pipe surrounding the basement to attempt to guide the water. However, the PVC did not prevent water from entering the basement. WaterGuard is installed below the floor, so the basement not only looks good, but it will also stay dry.

The before photo shows the problem area that would flood in times of heavey rain, causing water to enter the garage and even part of the home. These pipes intercept water at the wall and floor joint of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump System, which was also installed to pump the water away from the house. This advanced sump pump system will remain working even if there is no power to the house, thanks to the UltraSump battery backup pumping system. Lastly, a CleanSpace Liner was installed. This will stop water vapor from permeating the walls and drain any leaks that come down to WaterGuard. This basement will remain clean and dry for years to come!
