Replacing an Overflowing Sump Pump in Manchester, IL

A sump pump was not able to pump out the amount of water that was entering it in Manchester, MO, causing it to overflow and spill onto the basement floor. To solve this issue, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. It can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will now stay dry and restore peace of mind for years to come!

WaterGuard Catches Leaks in Finished Basement in Ellisville, MO

Patrick and Kimberly S. of Ellisville, MO had a beautifully finished basement. Unfortunately the basement was not waterproofed before it was finished and during a particularly heavy downpour, leaks behind their finished walls flooded the basement. It took hours to clean up and fan dry so they called Woods Basement Systems to see what could be done about the water problem. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. Unlike exterior drainage systems that are notorious for clogging, WaterGuard is an interior system that is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home to keep it free from mud and debris. It uses its wall flanges and channel holes to catch water from the foundation walls and floors before it can enter the basement and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

Waterguard Installation in Ballwin, MO

Mark M. of Ballwin, Missouri noticed that water was entering his home's basement after a heavy rain shower. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after every big storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Jacob K. assessed the situation and came up with the perfect solution. Foreman Juan H. then headed to the home to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system.

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It accepts water from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. The Waterguard then drains the water to the sump pump.

Mark M. no longer has to worry about his home's basement collecting water. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.

Finished Ballwin, MO Basement Needs WaterGuard for Protection

Even a finished basement is susceptible to water damage. The hard-earned money you spent to finish your basement could go out the door once water leaks in.

WaterGuard drains were used to protect this finished basement from further water damage because these drains will collect the water leaks and send them to the sump pump. WaterGuards are installed in the footing of the basement walls to stop the leak in its tracks and get it out before it can create damage.
