ThermalDry® Basement Floor Matting

ThermalDryTM Flooring System eliminates water vapor from coming through the concrete floor, giving you a floor that is comfortable to walk on and ready for carpeting!

The ThermalDry® Basement Floor Matting™ System turns a cold, damp, hard concrete floor into a dry, comfortable floor suitable for carpet. There is no organic material (wood) in the ThermalDry® Basement Floor Matting™ System, so it will NOT support mold growth! This is a key benefit over any other system available!A concrete floor is no place to live!
One of the differences between basement space and first floor space is the floor itself. It is the surface we are in contact with most. The floor of the main level of our homes is wood with air space below it. The floor of our basement is dense, hard concrete. Because it sits on the damp, cool (55º F) earth below, it is cold and uncomfortable. Furthermore, concrete is porous and allows water vapor to pass through. This moisture makes it feel even colder, causes carpet or other floor covering to rot, allows mold to grow, and causes the basement to smell musty. People with asthma & allergies may not be able to spend time in a basement like this. It’s a problem that must be solved if you want comfortable space in your basement.

ThermalDry Basement Floor Matting
The ThermalDry® Solution!
The ThermalDry® Basement Floor Matting System is a specially engineered polypropylene, 17” square tile, which is installed “tongue & groove” on the floor. Unlike systems that use wood, the ThermalDry® plastic membrane is totally water and vapor proof. The unique grid design on the bottom  of the tile creates an air space that insulates the floor, and does not cause water vapor to condense. The installation takes away only 3/8” of precious ceiling height in the basement, instead of 4” for other methods of dealing with the problem.

Comfort to the Highest Degree!

The air space created by the ThermalDry® system offers an insulating quality, because your carpeting is not in contact with the cold concrete. The finished floor is warmer, so summertime condensation forming on cold floor surfaces is greatly reduced or eliminated.

The matting will never rot, corrode or deteriorate. For example, a plumbing leak will not ruin the matting, like it would any wood flooring. After the ThermalDry® installation, you can lay carpet with confidence. The floor will be dry and comfortable, so you can use the room for a bedroom, playroom, office or recreation!

You don’t have to finish your basement to take advantage of the ThermalDry® Basement Floor Matting™ System. Many installations have been made for purposes of creating dry comfortable unfinished space! Your stored items, such as boxes, will not be ruined by the damp concrete floor. *If you have a sump pump, it is recommended that an UltraSump® battery back-up system be installed when you finish your basement. It is not recommended that Linoleum, tile or hardwood flooring be installed over ThermalDry® Floor Matting, only carpeting.
ThermalDry® Basement WALL System

The Basement Systems' ThermalDryTM Wall System will keep your walls dry and insulate as well!

The ThermalDry® Basement Wall System stops water vapor, drains wall leaks,* and does something the other two systems can not do – it reflects up to 97% of the indoor heat back into the basement. This saves energy and money because your heat is not absorbed and lost into the perpetually cold basement. This makes the ThermalDry® Wall System the preferred option for your basement walls if you are going to finish your basement in the future.

When finishing your basement, leave a 1/2” space in front of the ThermalDry® for maximum benefit. Also – ask about our ThermalDry® Floor Tile system to lay under your carpeting.

DryTrak®

The DryTrak® Basement Water Control System combines superior materials and practical design to remove seepage from the troublesome floor-wall joint and direct it to a sump pump or drain. The DryTrak® system is very effective on all types of foundations including poured concrete, brick, block, stone, etc.

The DryTrak® Basement Water Control System combines superior materials and practical design to remove seepage from the troublesome floor-wall joint and direct it to a sump pump or drain. The removal of this water lowers the water table around your foundation, thus relieving hydrostatic pressure. The DryTrak® system is very effective on all types of foundations including poured concrete, brick, block, stone, etc.

The patented DryTrak® system will keep your basement clean and dry so you can use the space for storage, recreational purposes or to finish for additional living space.

Reliable and Permanent
The DryTrak® system has been installed in thousands of basements across the United States and Canada. There is no costly digging, or damage to landscaping, sidewalks, porches, decks or lawns outside. The DryTrak® system will never clog like sub-surface drains do because it is not sitting in the mud. The DryTrak® system can be installed whether your basement is wet or dry and is the most affordable system available.

The DryTrak® system with TripleSafe™ Sump Pump Systemis the perfect solution to your wet basement! The TripleSafe™ drains water from the DryTrak® and from below the basement floor and discharges it out of the basement. Included with the TripleSafe™ is a reliable 1/3 hp pump, a 1/2 hp pump, a battery-operated back-up pump, and a WaterWatch® alarm system to alert you to pump or power failure BEFORE the water rises above the floor level. A most attractive feature is a removable airtight lid to cut down on noise, prevent objects from falling in, and keep moisture, insects, and odors from coming out of the sump.

SaniDryTM Basement Air System

SaniDryTM Basement Air System eliminates damp, musty odors in your basement once and for all, by drying and filtering the air! Covers over 2,000 square feet.

SaniDry Basement & Crawl Space Dehudifier and Air Filter
The SaniDry Basement & Crawl Space Air System is a powerful and effective dehumidifier—big enough to do the job. It will dry the air and automatically drain the water out of a hose, so you never have to empty it, like a conventional dehumidifier. The SaniDry will take three times the water out of the air as a typical dehumidifier, yet uses the same energy.

The SaniDry has a powerful blower to draw the damp musty air in and move the dry, clean air back out into the basement. The SaniDry unit can stand alone in a finished or unfinished basement. Here the unit is ducted into a finished area, with the air returning via existing air pathways connecting the spaces.

FloodChekTM

Any water leakage, whether it be from the ground or not, will have the same damaging effect on your finished basement.

Washing machine hoses that can flood your basement are a frequent problem. These hoses are not made to withstand the 50 or 60 pounds per square inch of water pressure like our hard plumbing system is. There is a valve to shut the water pressure off when the washing machine is not in use, but very few people use them all the time. Eventually, these inexpensive hoses will leak, or blow-out completely. FloodCheck® hoses are the answer. Guaranteed for 20 years, the FloodCheck® hoses are made to take the pressure, and will not blow-out, corrode, or rust at the end connections.

FloodRing Water Tank Protection System

The FloodRing was designed in a unique semi-circle shape so it can be installed without disturbing the water heater or well tank. Two sections of the FloodRing System are joined and adhered to the floor creating a watertight seal. When the water heater leaks, the FloodRing contains the flooding and drains the water away through our waterproofing system into our SuperSump or gravity drain where it can be removed.

Specifications
The FloodRing's unique semi-circle shape allows it to be installed without disturbing the water heater or well tank. Two sections of the FloodRing System are joined with screws through the pre-molded flanges.

The system is adhered to the floor creating a watertight seal. Use Vulkem Polyurethane caulk when floor is dry and original epoxy if floor is wet.
