Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Stephanie and Nathan B. of Jacksonville, IL were getting leaks in their finished basement. They had an exterior waterproofing system that was clogged and did nothing to stop water from getting in and damaging their carpeting and drywall so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing an interior waterproofing system.

As part of that system, Woods installed the WaterGuard interior drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home so it won’t be clogged by mud or plant debris as it catches water from the foundation walls and floors, before it can enter the basement, and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

A Jacksonville, IL basement was leaking water from the walls, so Woods installed the WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System. These pipes intercept water at the wall and floor joint of the basement and drain it towards the sump system to be pumped out. Next, a CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will stop water vapor from permeating the walls and will drain any wall leaks down to WaterGuard. This basement will now stay dry and clean for years to come!
