Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This homeowner gave Woods Basement Systems a call to prevent water from continuing to leak inside his Jacksonville, Illinois home. Team Woods installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement walls along with an UltraSump to pump out the water leaks. Pictured you can see the CleanSpace encapsulation system that was installed on the walls to protect them and to help guide water leaks towards the home's new sump pump. 

Josh R. was renovating a customer’s basement in Cahokia, IL when it flooded several inches. The basement had a sump pump but it was no longer functioning. Josh was worried that water would end up ruining any renovations he made so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.

Woods replaced the old, nonfunctional sump pump with the TripleSafe as part of the new waterproofing system. The TripleSafe contains two powerful sump pumps as well as a battery back up pump. Even in severe weather or power outages, the TripleSafe ensures the basement will stay dry.

Before renovating or finishing a basement, it needs to be waterproofed otherwise any finishings will become water damaged and cost more money in the long run. Along the ledge where the concrete footing sat above the foundation floors, Woods installed FlowGuard. The FlowGuard catches water from the foundation walls and directs it down to the drainage system. WaterGuard was installed to collect water from the FlowGuard as well as the foundation floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal. It’s situated out of the way of any mud that might clog it.

A Woods foreman installed discharge lines in this basement to direct water out of the house to prevent water damage from occurring. The trails were filled with concrete to even out the flooring and make it easier to move around the basement.

To help direct waterflow into the sump pump, WaterGuard was installed in the basement of this East St. Louis, IL home. As a way to avoid clogging, WaterGuard is also installed away from the "mud" zone. The homeowners of this home also had CleanSpace insalled to give their basement a cleaner look, as well as to reduce moisture production.
