Before this homeowner had no means of waterproofing protection in his house. Team Woods solved this issue by installing WaterGuard drains into the footing of the basement walls. This new drainage system would collect the water that would leak inside and send it towards the basement sump pump to then be pumped back outside. Now, the homeowner has a safe, dry, and protected basement!
Homeowner Mike from Collinsville, Illinois wanted to waterproof his basement after years of experiencing water damage. Team Woods installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement to direct water leaks towards the basement sump pump.
Before, this basement had no means of protection against water leaks. Now with the help of Team Woods, a TwinPack sump pump was installed to pump out pesky water leaks. This two pumping system will be dependable year around because if one pump fails, the backup pump will switch on.
A basement wall was leaking in Collinsville, IL, causing damage to it as well as the floor. To solve these issues, a partial CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!
Dale B. of Collinsville, IL was having major issues with water getting into his finished basement. It was damaging his finished walls and soaking his carpeted floors. Dale was worried it would only get worse so he called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
IceGuards were installed as part of the waterproofing system. IceGuards are attached to the discharge lines from the sump pump on the exterior of the home. Water will flow straight through them when there is no problems with the exterior discharge lines. If the discharge lines become frozen during the winter months, however, the slotted openings in the IceGuards allow water to escape into the yard and not come back into the basement.
Dale B. can now enjoy his finished basement without worrying about rainy weather because he knows it will stay dry.
