Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Jeff and Stacey L., Collinsville, Illinois homeowners, were distraught by water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. The water ruined their drywall and carpet as mold began to overtake the basement. Chad B., system design specialist, designed a solution to keep the basement dry.

WaterGuard was installed by foreman Melvin F. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that collects and guides water away from the basement. With this system, Jeff and Stacey's basement will stay dry,and they will no longer have to worry about mold.

Most wet basements, like this one Collinsville, Illinois, occur from a leak at the foundation wall and basement floor seam.  If this section is covered by drywall, the drywall will need to be cut out to install our WaterGuard® waterproofing system.  A section of the basement floor needs to be removed and re-concreted after the WaterGuard® is installed.

The customer had water coming in over the sill plate in one part of the basement and the other part was coming in at the foundation wall and basement floor seam.  Also was coming in under the cellar door.  Sill plate drain tile drainage took care of the sill plate and the combination of our trench drain and waterguard took care of the rest of the basement.

This brick Collinsville, Illinois basement had cracks that water would leak through during heavy rains. To solve this issue, a CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls to block out the water leaks. A WaterGuard drainage system was installed in the footing of the basement to collect the water leaks from the CleanSpace system. Then the water is directed to the TripleSafe sump pump that would discard of the water.
