A basement in Marissa, Illinois, needed some drains installed to help with water seepage coming in through the walls. Woods came out and installed the WaterGuard System. This system collects water and directs it to a nearby sump pump or directly into drains that lead away from the home's perimeter. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. With this install in place, water seepage will be an issue of the past for these homeowners.
A basement in New Berlin, IL, was leaking during heavy rain. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system doesn't clog, due to it's horizontal design. With this system in place, the homeowner can have peace of mind knowing their basement will remain dry during heavy rain.
These Summerfield homeowners were having trouble with drainage in their basement, so they called Woods Basement Systems for help and met with Design Specialist Mac D., who recommended for them the ideal solution.
Foreman Matt A. and his team installed a TripleSafe sump system unwanted water out of the home. TripleSafe uses three separate pumps for maximum protection, and it features the UltraSump battery backup system to keep the pumps running in any condition. Now these homeowners can enjoy their clean, dry basement thanks to TripleSafe
BEFORE: Water found its way into this Sparta, Illinois crawl space. Standing water and the humidity from it began to negatively affect the insulation and integrity of the home.
AFTER: Woods Basement Systems installed a waterproofing system with a sump pump as well as a dehumidifier. This crawl space is now completely dry and maintains a humidity level below 60%—which helps control mold and create a drier, healthier, more energy-efficient space.
This partially finished Sparta, Illinois basement was plagued with leaks. During extended periods of rain, water would stream down the walls from behind the wood paneling at the base of the walls. This moisture had badly damaged the wood and stained the floors, and it was threatening several electrical outlets. The homeowner wanted the problem solved, so he called Woods Basement Systems. After ripping out the paneling, a Woods team installed, among other things, WaterGuard drains underneath the floor at the base of the leaking wall to catch any water and prevent it from making it onto the floor. This basement is now totally waterproof!
