Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This Ballwin, Missouri home had water leaking in at the base of its walls. Woods Basement Systems installed WaterGuard to prevent water from building up around the outside of the walls of this basement. Water buildup can create hydrostatic pressure which leads to problems other than water leakage. WaterGuard is unique in that it sits on the footing of a home's foundation rather than in the dirt which prevents the WaterGuard from becomming clogged with dirt or mud. Kevin D. of Ballwin, Missouri discovered that his home's basement was collecting water even though he already had a working sump pump. He did not want to have to clean up a wet basement after every rain storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.

Design specialist Brandon B. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a CleanSpace wall system and a WaterGuard drainage system. Foreman Melvin F. then traveled to the home to get the job started. The WaterGuard drainage system, pictured above, is placed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. 

Kevin D. no longer has to worry about his home's basement flooding. He now has a dry and waterproof home.

Woods Basement Systems was called to this Ballwin, Missouri home to address the basement's constant leaks. During heavy periods of rain, water would stream out of cracks in the walls and pool on the floor. All of this moisture made it difficult to make good use of the space, and the homeowner wanted it taken care of.

A Woods team installed a WaterGuard drainage system underneath the flooring at the base of the leaking walls. These gutter-like drains catch any leaks and prevent them from making their way into the space. The basement is now protected from water!
