Jackie and Rob F. of Shrewsbury, MO had water damage in their basement. After an estimate by Woods Basement Systems specialist Chris T., it was determined that the damaged portion of the drywall needed to be removed, a waterproofing system be installed, and the bottom half of the wall replaced with the EverLast Half-Wall restoration system.
Pictured above is the TripleSafe sump pump, which is part of the waterproofing system. This pump is designed to collect water from the WaterGuard interior perimeter system and pump it out of and away from the house. It is equipped with a primary pump, secondary pump in case of primary pump failure, and a back up pump in case of power outage. The discharge line includes the IceGuard installed on the exterior of the home and allows water to escape the basement in the event it becomes frozen or clogged.
This Webster Groves, Missouri home's existing basement sump pump was simply not up to the task. It was dirty, loud, and allowed water to pool all over the basement floors. In order to fix this, a Woods Basement Systems team removed the old pump and replaced it with a brand new TripleSafe sump system. The TripleSafe has three separate pumps, including a battery backup, and is capable of removing well over 10,000 gallons of water per hour: quite the upgrade!
Mark C. of St. Louis, Missouri had a leaky basement, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Luke k. was able to help and recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard.
Foreman, Juan H. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump uses a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a backup battery-powered pump to protect your home with its three-in-one design. WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement floor with a layer of rock, the guard, and concrete covering the top. it works to collect water that seeps through basement walls and then takes that water and guides it to the sump pump to be fully removed from the home.
Now Mark C. has a dry basement.
Jim A. from Webster Groves, MO had already installed a sump pump system to protect his basement from water. Unfortunately, the sump pump system he had was not able to keep pace with the water leaking into his basement.
To put Jim at ease and to help the pump that was there already, Dave G. installed our TripleSafe™ sump pump system alongside the existing system. The TripleSafe™ sump pump is so efficient at removing water that the discharge line from the existing pump was put into the intake for the TripleSafe™ casing. With its two main pumps and a battery back-up third pump, the TripleSafe™ was able to keep the basement dry even when other pumps couldn't.
The TripleSafe™ system will keep Jim's basement dry like no other pump before it.
Water was leaking down a wall in Saint Louis, MO, and the sump system was failing at pumping this water out. To solve these issues, Woods first installed a CleanSpace Basement Wall System. This is an economical way to cover ugly walls, stop water vapor from permeating them, and drain wall leaks. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!
