Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Replacing an Old Window in Jacksonville, IL
Homeowners in Jacksonville, IL wanted to start the process of finishing their basement and add more light by replacing an older and smaller window with a larger window in place. Our team at Woods Basement Systems installed the Egress window and a RockWell Window Well to do just that. The Egress window allows more natural light to be let in and doubles as an easy escape route from the basement. The RockWell Window Well is not only built to last but has duplicated the look of real stone, making it much nicer to look at in comparison to a plastic-looking well. Also added was the well cover, which keeps debris out of the RockWell while still letting light in. The homeowners were happy with their new addition to their basement and peace of mind!

The RockWell Window Well is equipped with steps for an easy escape if need be. The look of real stone can also be seen on this one-piece rigid construction.
The Outside Appearance
The window well is additionally covered with a well cover to protect against leaves and debris falling into the well while still letting the natural sunlight in.
